work and money and experience

been wanting to work at church, gain some experience working in ministry, see what its like, stuff like that. although, when i finished school i sort of lost the drive to want to work in church (actually i dont really want to work at all, but i should :P)

previously, i was content with pretty much anything, as long as it was work in the church office; even admin, even minimal salary. but it seems now im a bit harder to please, maybe because of external factors.

asked the pastors about working in church, ps jenni got back to me and told me they'd meet about it. they took a while to come back, but in the end they asked if i wanted to take over aunty mee eng (admin) as she would be going on long leave (april), and said that if i wanted to learn stuff about ministry, i could go directly to the pastors/elders. [and i kind of feel that is a pathetic attempt at growing people]

so now im wondering if i want to work at church or not, here are my cards:
for:
experience (church admin), ill probably never get a chance to try it again
interaction with pastors, learn how they work
how the church works (although i think this church is too by-the-book)

against:
money, i probably can help my parents out a bit
time, if i take up ame's admin role, i would have alot less time weekends. plus even if i take up a 'part time' ministry role, its as good as full time
mood, im not too keen on it now

oh well. gonna try for PS daiso :P i hear their pay is good

church drivethru

church drivethru, sad isnt it, how everyone has their own opinion of the way church should be run; and when it doesnt go our way, we try and change it (or we move). so whats the line between right and wrong?

valentines

valentine's day is named after two Christians who died for Christ, both named Valentine. amidst all the romantic love that we all have on this day, let's not forget true agape love :)
i made a persistence of vision (POV) thing for her, didnt have time to decorate the box (actually, i dont know how to). an example of POV is the clock that waves and writes numbers into the air.

here you go,it reads:

i finally graduated :D

didnt hang around with my friends, i went to meet angela instead. it was a nice night out :) stayed out past the last bus, so i took a turbocharged V6 skoda octavia home. haha eleven bucks taxi fare man, my dad should let me drive when i go out on dates ;) [i wonder if he still reads...]

in any case, the stupid thing we did, which wasnt really so entertaining anymore.. running across the roof of T1A. again. we should do the 4 stories-high bridge at T14, more kick. especially if we fall.
